Wadsworth Public Library
Wadsworth Public Library came to WDD Online with a formal request for proposal that included a diverse set of online applications including:
- Full content management with distributed responsibility across departments
- Online applying for library cards
- Meeting room and audio visual equipment reservations
- Dynamic news and announcements of new books and media
- Teacher Loan Requests
- Teacher Assignment Alerts
- Summer Reading Program management
- Story Time Program management
- "Ask A Librarian"
- Special Event announcements
- A special Reader Book Review program
WDD Online built a site that portrayed the multiage, multicultural, and multimedia look they wanted to portray. Special pages were designed for the "Teen" section with a more progressive look.
We worked closely with the library's IT director to install and integrate software, and train staff members in the use of the content management tool, C4.
